Question for the audience: should kids be allowed to have their birthday off school (exceptions such as exam days apply)? Personally, I think being able to have a day off on their birthday would give them some very valuable one on one time with their family, something that's not present enough.

What other kinds of social media does everyone use? For me, I only use #Bluesky. Facebook is just full of family members all moaning about something, and X is full of strangers moaning about something. At least here, I can engage with other people and not feel like they need drop kicking 😅

I've just been accepted onto an induction and start date for a place that's a 10 minute bike ride from my house!! For context, I moved further away from my old place of work, meaning I was travelling 70 miles a day for work, costing me a bomb in fuel. Saving the planet and my wallet now 🥳🥳

Saw my daughters school nativity yesterday, she was the narrator. Full of beans and confidence, it was definitely a "proud dad" moment. Also, they all shouted Merry Christmas at the end, so I reported it to the police as I read on Xitter that it was against the law. Thank me in the comments.
