Game for a good conversation. Keep it clean and... unmean? Yeah... Video games, politics, fatherhood. Used to be active on the other place, took the plunge and got the heck outta Dodge. Don't DM me unless it's with memes. Thanks ❤️

Don't think you can kiss an existential crisis better, but if they want to give it a good go, I'm not picky 🫠🤣

Nice. I'll need to check that out. Currently playing Avowed right now. Surprisingly good for a Bethesda clone 🙃

I think Europe needs to put its efforts into not becoming like America tbh.

I got suckered back to X with all the drama. But I think I've quite had my dose of lunacy now. Time to detoxify on here. What's everyone playing at the minute?

It's mad when you think about it really. All these people banging on about Bill Gates and his methane reducing feed or whatever shit they bang on about, yet they'll simp to america for some juiceless drugged up cow meat. Gotta question their cognitive health tbh.

Imagine being 47 years old and the pinnacle of your life was: Burned a book to own the Muslims... Face. Meet palm 🤦

Ooft i know what you mean. He should podcast self help for sleep, he could talk about absolutely anything and I'd be counting sheep in no time! And I would still take that boring arse person as prime minister over any other ringleader of the last circus we had. Politics isn't meant to be exciting.

I don't understand how labour come into this, is it because they haven't repealed the tory laws surrounding protest yet?

When it comes to advice on the ministerial code, I wouldn't consult the tories. They don't know their arse from their elbow on that subject.

The fucking birthday bumps. Your best friends made sure they'd get you extra hard because it was the one day they could 😂😂

KS seems to be letting the general opinion even among hard-line tory/brexit voters that brexit was (as we already fully knew) and big mistake and poorly executed. It means he has an absolute stonking mandate to redirect our relationship with the EU and bring us closer once again. That's my opinion.

Starmer has done this throughout his leadership. Let the party opposite make itself enough rope to hang themselves with. We know eventually they'd have to admit they fucked the country.

My step sons already said his favourite part of today was me showing him how to beat a certain point on Mario wonders. I mean, kid I've been gaming for 27 years, if I can't put that to good use I don't know what else I'd be good for 😂😂 5 minutes effort and I'm the best part of the day. I'll take it

Not at all! These are the sort of caveats that comes up with these sorts of things. Always pros and cons, it's just about trying to find that happy medium!

Very true. Although I think it goes along the idea of "well you get every birthday off, why can't I" kinda thing. I'd be a dick and say only the birthday kid could have the day off. That's valuable time with mam and dad they can spend on the one day that's all about them 😁

Well we can put holidays in at work, some jobs I've been to even gave you your birthday off for free if you were meant to be working, so it only seems fair. Plus it is just one day.

She's definitely going up in my estimations for actually admitting the harsh reality of the situation. Not that I'd ever vote tory, but still. It's nice to see someone finally admitting to fucking up.

Question for the audience: should kids be allowed to have their birthday off school (exceptions such as exam days apply)? Personally, I think being able to have a day off on their birthday would give them some very valuable one on one time with their family, something that's not present enough.

Think MP by elections take more priority for the right and they'll put forward as many candidates as possible. It's the left leaning parties that usually aim to work pragmatically together imo.

Noones ever happy are they... are we not allowed to just ignore irrelevance that had nothing to do with the ceasefire and just be grateful that the killings have stopped?

I wouldn't think so. The tories being shown as deliberately weak and stepping aside for someone else? That's the role of lesser parties, the way brexit party did. If anything, reform will make some fake shit up about not having a candidate due to whatever reason. Just to not look pathetic.

Reform have been determined to turn it into a mistrial. That and the Manchester airport shit. If they can get one of those thrown out, they can instigate riot 2.0 and blame everyone else.

Looking for more worldwide donors to the business. Imagine offering "members" fuck all in terms of benefits, and charging them 25 quid for the convenience.

Probably more went to Rwanda because they were born there than the tories flagship immigration policy sent.

Why has people suddenly backtracked on progress and instead started demanding inquiry after inquiry? We've already had two, and Labour look like they're going to be implementing suggestions from the seven year long one. Surely that's the key takeaway here?

Working together is much easier and beneficial than being isolated. Let's be honest, the craziness of the yanks is about to be felt in full force as Trump tries to "reclaim america" with tariffs and blocks on trade and comms. It's in our best interest to strengthen better ties with others.

If the centre left wanted lower pay, why are they increasing minimum wage at all? Self employed people weren't even helped during covid, most of them went under because of the financial hardship they were left in, so I really don't think you've thought through your reasoning mate.

It's just confusing as the reason the majority of the country is in the stinker is because the conservatives, to put it bluntly, did what the fuck they liked for years and years. Then they caught lucky breaks as excuses why they were so shit. Like covid and the whole Ukraine thing. Unbelievable.

Fury 🤣 On twitter and among other hateful entities perhaps. To actual normal people, it was the best moment of his term so far. Call them out for what they are. Bullshit spreaders in an echo chamber of misinformation. That's the online right. So desperate for a taste of power again. Tough shit.

Apparently andrew tate is running to be prime minister. I don't have the heart to tell him you can't run just for the leader of a country, I think his ego might snap in two like his twig legs.

The right of politics advocating for sovereignty and taking back our shores, then doing a massive handbrake turn and wanting to give our sovereignty to an unelected South African billionaire is a wild concept.

Oh so now everyone's unhappy because they've finally seen the country for how much of a pile of shit it is? Nah sorry, this ain't starters fault but I understand why Reformers want to try and pin all our problems on him. It's because they're former tory voters. Unhappy bastards.

Why are they only bothered now? Is it to score political points, or you reckon it's because they knew there was no point asking their own party because they did fuck all right anyway?
