Is the economy seriously so bad right now that $20 for an occasional night out with friends considered a lot of money??? This is a genuine question because this is becoming a massive social barrier for me. I specifically set aside money for these kinds of outings and people keep having to pass it up

This game is why I think the twisted sword shadow mantle and thorn ring are meant to be a part of the same armor set btw.

The situation with FurAffinity is pretty amazing. Advertisers threatened their advertising revenue because they considered Plus Sized characters and characters HUGGING to be adult content. So FA said fuck off, and in two days raised their entire yearly funding. Advertisers are so bullshit stupid.

Agreed, like it's almost impossible to seperate its potential ethical practicality from the soulless plague that billionares are pushing constantly

More zelda games should have the balls to just make you play pacman randomly for the final boss.

Yeah, 2 especially, the feeling of danger and the possibility of being jumpscared by a metroid every new screen is one of its best aspects. Theres only one actually melodic song and the rest of the soundtrack is purely atmospheric.

110

~~~Rixor~~~ @rixor14.bsky.social · 05/10/2026
We need 3rd metroid 2 remake that actually has the courage to not have a map. The game was generally linear enough to not need one.
Like its legit gotten to the point where I often go into negative reviews, see people complaining about "confusing map design, too long bosses, punishing deahts, etc" and just adding them to the list of selling points. And sometimes they sell me more than the positive ones.
000
~~~Rixor~~~ @rixor14.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Like, keep those reviews up for those who care about them, but let me, someone who has never accepted that as a genuine criticism of anything, to focus on the ones that either enjoy the game or think it's too easy, because those affect my buying decision much more.

100

~~~Rixor~~~ @rixor14.bsky.social · 04/10/2026
Steam should have an option to filter out all reviews by people who think a game is too hard. Ive seen so many indies by now that might as well be Overwhelmingly Positive if those reviews weren't a factor lol.
