Happy #BlackHistoryMonth ! Feb 23: Q: Not everything is racism! E.g. Black folk die young because of high BMI from their bad diets! That's on y'all! Right? A: Black people in the UK have higher BMI than white people, and live *longer* than white people. 🙂🙃 Read the whole linked thread.

I hate assessments like this! There's so many good candidates that will get missed because of assessments like that.

The two authors wrote letters back and forth from the two main characters and weren't quite sure what the other author would say. I think it makes for a unique experience.

If you like sci-fi I really loved this book: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/This_Is... It's super short at about 200 pages. It will just throw you into the world so be ready to be confused at first. But if you just join for the ride it's a really neat story. Also interesting that it is two authors.

In the next few weeks we'll be kicking off work on new Laravel starter kits. Here's what I'm thinking... I don't think the starter kits should be packages. Instead, I think they should just be GitHub repositories you clone. All of the code lives in your application, no "install" commands. 🔨

I think I had a migraine Monday. It was awful. I just laid in bed all day. It is pretty rare for me to throw up but I did Monday. Thankfully I already sleep with an eye mask so I just used that during the day to keep out lights.
