Songs of Glimmerwick is the perfect October game. Magical, whimsical, funny, atmospheric…it’s scratching the same itch that Hogwarts Legacy would.

I was a bit sceptical about Welcome to Elderfield, because that art style isn’t what I usually go for and my last attempt to play a spoopy farming sim (Moonlight Peaks) was somewhat of a letdown. But man, I am glad I gave it a chance because it’s really good and so addictive!!!!!

The other day I finished my first playthrough of Sovereign Tower and had quite mixed feelings about my results. I can’t wait to get back to it and start over! Work has been so busy that it will likely have to wait for the weekend though…

Not all glitches are bad. This one brought 1000xRESIST to the front page of the PlayStation Store. Hekki grace 😇

Press clipping that says:

Original Story: Good news for the makers of 007 First Light and 1000xRESIST – both games are currently appearing on the PS Store homepage due to a glitch.

The 1.0 release of Fields of Mistria however…*chefkiss* I hope I can continue my adventures soon, I still have to finish the mines quest line and marry/have kids.

010

a Riri @riririn.bsky.social · 18/08/2026

Looks like the 1.0 release of Starsand Island is pretty underwhelming and not much was improved on during ea that would make a substantial difference for how I feel about it as a whole. Oh well…

I wanted to get one but I am not sure I can justify it for that price…might as well just wait for a steamdeck 2 atp. Then again, with the current state of hardware prices, maybe there won’t be a steamdeck 2…….😭

010

a Riri @riririn.bsky.social · 19/06/2026

Tales of Seikyu is the kind of game I wanted Starsand Island to be. I love the character stories!!! I think it is well worth the money even in its current state but if the devs can polish the overall gameplay (and clunky controls) some more, then it will become amazing.
