When I was first medicated for migraines, they only wanted to give me 3 sumatripan at a time. My pharmacy tried to help me by dispensing 3 months worth but only had 8 on hand. My insurance sent a note to my doctor saying they thought I was abusing drugs. She shared it with me. I called insurance..

There appears no setting in the Chat app to turn ring through on. One shouldn't have to have Gmail to have it ring through. (this was in a help article) One shouldn't have to turn on all tabs and notifications and then turn everything I don't want off. (2nd part of this step was not in help article)

Of interested to likely no one: Meet wasn't ringing through on my phone. The way to fix this was turn everything on in Gmail (Chat tab, plus notifications, plus ring through), then turn everything off except ringing through, then turn off gmail notifications on the window shade. Meet rings through.

Got my flu shot today. Was really happy they offered Covid shots as well. I'm still within 2 months of my last one so shouldn't need it, but still nice to know it's being actively offered. Because covid is currently measuring at 4 times the amount flu is right now.

It can still disable you. Forever. People had a hard time when restaurants closed for a few weeks. It was seemingly the worst thing that had ever happened to them. Imagine being so sick that you have to stay home for five years. And you're still sick, and there's no treatment, there's no cure. 😷

My local phlebotomy clinic in the SF Bay Area even has a measles sign up. It can live up to 2 hours in the air. You can spread it even 4 days before being symptomatic. Get your measles titer drawn.

Speech to text is one of the *main* reasons I prefer phones over desktops. For reference, the average wpm keyboard typing is 40-50. Texting: 38-40. On a random test on the fly, I am at 94. I know the value of speech to text. I know I'm faster speaking.

I do still wonder what the underlying reason is for the round trip time for answers. Is it an actual person and they have to access a shody LLM for answers rather than a well defined playbook and only allow the LLM to answer when an acceptable answer is found? I am betting on the fiber cut, though.

That was sincerely painful. The whole outcome of that is I had to ask a co-user for access to re-setup my account. Why it wasn't set up, I don't know. Maybe because the security questions are abysmal and anyone could easily mine for *any* of those. So I gave & recorded wrong answers for them.
