There are absolutely horrifying videos from the scane of the Russian strike on Kharkiv. Apartment building is not just partially collapsed, its ablaze, and it all during late evening hours when people are at home. I will share when its safe. Russia will rot in hell for this.

It just needs enough people to distrust democracy, hate their neighbours and vote against their own interests. The question is no longer whether foreign interference exists. It's why democratic governments have been so reluctant to expose its full extent.

I don't see anything erratic here. For over a decade, Trump has prioritised "getting along with Russia"; since 20 January 2025, Trump administration policy has reflected that priority. It's perhaps the most consistent aspect of Trump foreign policy. 🧵on Trump and sanctions.

Jeg får ikke til å lese artikkelen som er bak betalingsmur. Men jeg mistenker at det som foregår er enda verre; Putin har fått Trump til å be Europa om dette. For at det i neste omgang skal bli lettere for lobbyister å argumentere for at sanksjonene mot russisk olje skal fjernes når Europa er tom.

The fact that we come from different places on the political spectrum should be an advantage. We can spread the message to different groups that way, we cover more people. What is not ok is when people say "If you support 🇺🇦, you have to support this or that unrelated case."

While this is as depressing as expected, a couple things to keep in mind: - Saxony-Anhalt is a small Bundesland (population ~2 million) - building a regional government will likely be difficult - it doesn’t directly affect Germany’s Ukraine or Russia policy - this is why Germany is a federal state
