Yesterday’s layoffs at Bethesda Games Studios were not a cut of “14 layers of management”. We lost dozens of programmers, artists, designers and testers. Many of whom worked at BGS for decades.

If Bethesda fans are worried this will harm the quality of our future games, like TES VI, let Microsoft know!

If you go into any Elder Scrolls Online community today; you'll observe people being genuienly sad about seeing their devs being let go. And its not a "Oh no the game" sadness but actual feels for the devs, the people, themselves. That is the unique bond the ZOS team has built over the years.

ESO was at the precipice of a new golden age. So many amazing changes and fixes, and then the A-holes at Microsoft just swoops in & ruins it all! I guess your only other option then is to accept that there won't be any way of corroborating Sascha's story other than the fact that, statiatically, it's highly unlikely that they're lying, they've not been sued for defamation, and they have nothing to win by telling their story.
