Been playing the game Cobalt Core for a while. Finished the main story just now. This is a great roguelike deckbuilder. Probably not as hard as other roguelike, but that doesn't take away from its charm. Love the characters, narrative, and dialogue. And really love the music.

Regarding Xbox

In June 2026 we announced that the release of Big Walk would be limited to computers, Switch 2 and PS5. Since then, we have received many messages and comments, asking about a future Xbox release. We would like to address those questions here:

We have made the decision not to release Big Walk on Xbox, in accordance with the Palestinian-led BDS (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions) movement’s call to boycott Microsoft, and their designation of Microsoft Games (and Xbox) as a priority boycott target. If you need help understanding our motives, we would recommend reading about why Microsoft is a BDS priority target, the successes this kind of pressure has already had on Microsoft, and especially, watching this great introductory piece by People Make Games.

It has always been our intention for Big Walk to be played by groups of friends, and we know that keeping the game off Xbox runs counter to those intentions. This decision means that some people will miss out on playing Big Walk with their friends, and we understand the disappointment we’re causing. We are disappointed too.

We would love for people to be able to play the game on Xbox, but not until Microsoft and/or Xbox have been removed as BDS boycott targets.

We’ve made this decision with the belief that meaningful change can be made in the world, that coordinated collective action can confront even the most powerful interests, and that one day, Palestine will be free.

There are probably multiple factors, like environment, how you react to certain things, how you are raised, etc.. Though I think you shouldn't think much about why exactly.

I only followed the series in bits and pieces, but to my knowledge, the much later chapters(episodes) would feature some of them here and there. But for most of the time Conan just solves cases that he somehow stumbles into, like, almost daily.

Huh. Same thing happened to me just this morning(2 hours ago). Can't find the setting to confirm my age on the app. I then opened the browser and found the setting, only it already confirmed me as an adult. Re-opened the app, and I have access to all the servers again. Weird.

This is to say, I personally would appreciate an art less if I learn said art is produced with the help of GenAI. There's nuances to this, as in how said "tool" is used. But regardless, I would've appreciated an artist making a decision independently more.

Even putting AI aside, I think people in general can intuitively weigh their appreciation based on the method used and the effort it took. You can appreciate someone's webcomic, but if you learn later said webcomic is made in Microsoft Paint, you'd be like "wow, thats's amazing!"

Still, having those 3 views altogether just confuses me. Either Palworld is not trying to compete with Pokémon since the start, or those three games are competing in the general monster catching genre of games. Though it could just be that different people have different thoughts on the matter.

To be fair, looking at the games themselves, yes, those first 2 statements make sense. Palworld has a material gathering for weapon crafting and base building focus, alongside Pal raising. Aniimo is more focused on the Aniimo themselves, as far as I've played. Which is closer to Pokémon.
