Been playing the game Cobalt Core for a while. Finished the main story just now. This is a great roguelike deckbuilder. Probably not as hard as other roguelike, but that doesn't take away from its charm. Love the characters, narrative, and dialogue. And really love the music.

The spin-off title mentioned is Torneko's Great Adventure, developed by Chunsoft. 12 years later, they would pitch the concept to Pokémon, creating Pokémon Mystery Dungeon, where a human turns into a Pokémon and goes on adventures. And let's just say, a lot of people relate to that former human.

Saw this post and the responses to it, and got motivated to make a doc. Link in the replies. TLDR; Social medias like Twitter/X encourage confrontational and angry posts more than nuanced discussions and conversations, and I (and I think others) want more of the latter.

I used to read that manga actively, but I've since fallen off. Idk, maybe it is just "too nice" for me. Still, it is a good manga. For me, I've been reading Please Look After the Dragon. A similarly wholesome story, but with more comedic jabs.

People are somehow upset at this VGC review of Palworld, who gave it 3/5. I have a lot of thoughts regarding review scores in general, but I'll say this. People who are upset at this review are acting similarly to those who are upset that someone gave Zelda: Breath of The Wild 7/10 way back then.

The ongoing discourse around this Pal's design in Palworld only serves to vindicate me further that having a nuanced discussion in a public social media like X/Twitter is pretty much impossible. There's this "Us Vs. Them" mentality, as well as generalizing a whole side's opinion as a singular thing.

Okay, been following the Sony discontinuing physical disc news. And I get why people would be upset, honestly I prefer Sony continuing to produce them. But how does being accredited to a university discredit an analyst's opinion? I think that's irrelevant, and it feels like people are reaching here.

This is talking about GTA 6 pricing, but honestly there are so many examples that I don't know how people can think otherwise. One example, a lot of people on the internet(me included) can agree that the 2019 live action Lion King movie sucks. And yet:

Been a while since I posted here. Have been feeling unmotivated to do much of anything, lately, but at least I did beat Mina The Hollower. It has an interesting story, and especially ending, that makes me think. Won't spoil it, but this message pretty much sums it up:
