The Kickstarter for my sci-fi graphic novel, Settle, is LIVE NOW. I've worked hard on this book for years, so I hope you can help me make the print version a reality. Please share and thank you! www.kickstarter.com/projects/155...

My friend, @jasonhorn.bsky.social has created a really cool sci-fi/western graphic novel. He’s got a kickstarter to get it printed. I’m definitely in line to get a copy of this WHEN it reaches its goal! Please support this awesome project. www.kickstarter.com/projects/155...

This is, in large part, pandemic revenge. As far as these oligarchs are concerned, all science does is tell them stuff they cannot do. They can't keep spewing carbon. They can't keep businesses open as usual when millions are dying. They have concluded that research is the enemy of profit.

RIP Val Kilmer. Man, this guy was a major part of my movie loving young self. Top Gun, Tombstone, Willow, The Doors, Real Genius, The Saint. Amazing actor. He’ll be missed for sure. www.nytimes.com/2025/04/01/m...

Val Kilmer, Film Star Who Played Batman and Jim Morrison, Dies at 65

A wide-ranging leading man who earned critical praise, he was known to be charismatic but unpredictable. At one point he dropped out of Hollywood for a decade.

Today has been a day of listening to Hiroshi Yoshimura. As we head into unpredictable and scary times, I have found his music to be therapeutic. I don’t often share publicly that I struggle with anxiety and depression, but I fear that the old stigmas are once again being promoted by those in office.

I can't stop laughing at this man I'm sorry. This is the kind of shit the biggest loser in the world would say to their girlfriend about buying her flowers on Valentine's Day once, and he's doing so in an argument that started because he called her a bitch

I absolutely adore Adam and Swervedriver and this video just made me so happy. Anyone who has ever tried to learn these songs by yourself knows how frustrating it could be to figure them out. This is a perfect example of “work smarter, not harder.” Enjoy! youtu.be/Mz_F8wsZtnc?...

Rieux is back at it. Working really hard on this next album. Not sure where it will land. We might have to release this one on our own. I’d prefer not to, but there are worse things in this world.

Boomers are nostalgic for how much better things used to be. But forget the part where wealthy people were taxed over 90% from the 1940s-60s. Want nice things? Less wealth inequality helps. A Lot. (Also like so many things, Reagan screwed us all.)

New wall art. Shoegaze, indie rock, and electronic silkscreen prints of Pixies, Ride, Swervedriver, Thee Oh Sees, and Failure on my studio wall. I don’t make music like any of these groups, but they all influence me in some way or another.

Going to start kicking it into high gear on the second album. We’ve recorded a lot, but we need to refine and organize it into a cohesive piece. I didn’t think it would be 2024 and we wouldn’t have finished the follow-up, but here we are.
