Do I consider myself to be a generally level-headed and humble person, who strives to avoid hyperbole and hubris? Yes. Do I think we're releasing the most fun online VR shooter ever made in early access tomorrow? Also, yes. www.youtube.com/watch?v=766c...

Relistening to a @stoppodcasting.bsky.social episode from 2012 (as you do) only to discover @grahamclark.bsky.social totally came up with the premise for Severance. Time to lawyer up, Ben Stiller.

So here’s our next game! Bigger, bolder and more ambitious than Hyper Dash and Breachers, and we can’t wait to let everyone play it later this year. #forefrontvr youtu.be/65kzxTRrYcc?si=hBxZYkn1PvR…

All the LK-99 superconductor stuff in 2023 was exciting because it was potentially a big technological breakthrough *not* rooted in computing. If “tech” just means increasingly clever tricks with data & GPU’s, aggressively marketed as “The Future” without really improving the human condition… meh.

This has been nagging at me for months but I finally figured out who the Hawk Tuah girl reminds me of: James Hetfield circa 1983. I will need some time to process this.

Preparing to leave Twitter for good, just need to put a little more time into my massively over-engineered custom archival tool for Classic Banger Tweets that must be liberated from the X servers and preserved for humanity before the Great Collapse. Your children's children will thank me.
