This one absolutely resonated. Dropping deep, human truths, it's densely descriptive in it's approach to scene setting and without it could easily be 100 pages shorter but it's bizarrely captivating settings and mystery had me hooked. Annihilation by Jeff Vandermeer. #booksky #books #reading

I don't care much for Marvel comics these days, I mean I do love the characters but with so many other rich stories, universes, characters etc by so many creative writers, independents and artists its a shame not to look beyond what the big guns publish.

Football season is so good for my work flow. Watch a drive, ads come on and I check in on a client... Repeat. Bengals screw me again by losing = no problem saying no to clients ridiculous request due to pent up football angst. It's win win.

For me, nothing soon. I tapped out on Madden a few cycles back. At most maybe any future mass effect, dead space & dragon age games. In hindsight, their current gaming footprint isn't all that massive.

Those safety pins are absolutely perfect for 'pin squats'. I don't know if you are familiar but they a really cool way to test different ranges of motion, increase explosiveness etc. Super safe way to test overloading a little too.

I feel like those 5lb jumps are felt sooo much more on isolation exercises like curls, raises etc too. That said, if you look at the jump from a percentage increase, it suddenly doesn't seem so crazy when it gets more difficult.

Do you close your fitness circles easy? I did, so I made bigger circles, made them harder to close, in fact if I'm closing them regularly and with ease, I'm leaving steps and challenge on the table. Embrace a little chaos and understand it's ok to miss once in a while if your bar is High enough.

Over 40 years in a row of Celtic or Rangers winning the SPL. Definitely a broken, boring system. I unengaged from it years ago. It's a bust system for sure regardless of who you follow. Shit on American sports all you like but draft systems keep things entertaining for everyone.

Always amused me that drinking a wee carton of whole milk in the streets turns heads but slamming back bottles of yazoo doesn't. Same goes for most whole food vs processed variants. Imagine watching someone smashing into a pre roast whole chicken at lunch, you'd definitely double take. Strange.
