They had to run to the gate. This person was not prepared to have to run and didn’t like it but made it. “Presidential level” airspace restrictions. saw nothing unusual but was also watching a webcam of their cat at home

My book, Ghosts of Distant Trees, includes a short essay about getting an abortion in a Fbx clinic, & eating goldfish crackers in the recovery room, over 10 yrs ago. Yesterday I went to the same clinic for the 1st time since for routine care* & felt cozy seeing them in the waiting room snacks

* I’ve been elsewhere since, don’t worry, but god the medical landscape is bleak and PP is possible to schedule with in a reasonable amount of time and answers the phone, & I’ve had nothing but stellar care there since high school so I keep circling back to them & probably always will

I completely inadvertently (truly) walked out of costco w/ a 24 pack of beer i didn't pay for and no one noticed. I was in manic town task mode, tired af, drove the 3 hours home, unloaded, reviewed receipts, & checker #1 hadn't scanned the beer, #2 buried it, & #3 was in the same mood as me i guess

I played cello - v poorly - in school orchestras from 5th grade thru high school, & haven't picked one up since til yesterday when i came into possession of a sort of neighborhood beater cello & omg, i'm having so much fun. I'm practicing Bach & Sam Smith & major scales. Dog is concerned.

This was Priority. I had the same thing happen with Express (I won’t say how much I paid for that one but enough to think, wrongly, that it would get some special attention 😭) In my experience, getting TO Alaska seems normal enough, but vanishing post-Anchorage is becoming a pattern
