After I posted my question I did a google image search and I think you're very close. It definitely is likely to be a hybrid tea rose and camp David, dark desire and Mr Lincoln were all candidates. Whichever it is I'm so glad it's in our garden! Oh d I just went for a wander & this one has 50+ buds!

I'm waiting with bated breath for our garden to explode in colour with all of our, perfectly pruned by moi ;), roses poised to burst into stunning blossoms. They are covered in buds but so far only one has burst and it's perfume is so heady.

Another excellent and tasty lunch here in ward c at Fiona Stanley Hospital.

Luncheon tray, with an bowl that had delicious minestrone soup, a plate with steamed mix vegetables, rice carrots and baked fish with a rich tomato sauce. Half a buttered wholemeal Rolland tub of pear pieces in juice. The call the nurse button is resting on the tray.
