Good morning and happy Friday, the springboard into the weekend. #scape #photography #PhotographersUnited #PhotographersOfBluesky #PhotoOfTheDay #ArtYear #photohour #EastCoastKin

This photo captures a striking sunrise scene with dramatic layers of color in the sky, where cool blue-grey clouds transition into vivid pinks and oranges above the horizon. The silhouetted tree line stands out sharply against the glowing sky, and several buildings are partially visible along the left and bottom edges.
In the lower part of the image, the tranquil surface of a body of water beautifully reflects the sunrise colors and the tree silhouettes. On the water, several white ships are visible—their outlines distinct against the gentle glow. Both the ships and the trees are clearly reflected in the water, enhancing the scene’s symmetry and tranquility. The combination of sunrise colors, mirrored ships, and natural silhouettes creates a serene and contemplative atmosphere.

This image captures a vibrant and cheerful moment at a Pride parade or similar LGBTQ+ event, featuring two young women as the central focus.

Two women are walking on a wet, paved surface, suggesting it might have recently rained or is still raining, necessitating the use of an umbrella.
The woman on the left has red hair and is holding a large, brightly coloured rainbow umbrella, iconic of LGBTQ+ pride. She is wearing a dark, patterned top under a black cardigan and a full, printed skirt featuring colorful dinosaur or animal-like figures, paired with sneakers. She is smiling and looking towards the other woman.
The woman on the right has dark hair tied back and is wearing a light-coloured, off-the-shoulder top with a word printed on it (partially visible as "LOVE), black leggings, and a patterned shirt or jacket tied around her waist. She is also smiling, looking towards the woman with the umbrella, and appears to be mid-conversation or sharing a joyful moment.
The background is bustling with other participants and onlookers, indicating a public event/parade.
A large banner, featuring rainbow colours and the text "coming out for teachers," is visible in the upper left, clearly linking the event to LGBTQ+ advocacy, specifically within the education sector.
Other people, some holding flags or banners, can be seen in the background, adding to the sense of a communal celebration or march.
The ground is reflective, suggesting wet conditions, yet the overall mood conveyed by the subjects' expressions is one of happiness and connection.
Overall Impression: The image conveys a sense of joy, camaraderie, and celebration amidst supportive activism, highlighting themes of pride, community, and visibility within the LGBTQ+ movement.
