In September, China's combustion vehicle (ICE) sales dropped to just a third of the market for the first time Battery electric vehicles are getting close to half of the market (47.3%), while Plug-ins added another 19.7%. Only 5 years from >90% to 33% ICE.

I don't hear any offers to pay back their share of the £830m from clubs that sold top price players to Manchester City. Not a word. The global industry needs to thank the Emirates for pumping such huge sums into the game.

Infantino's interference in the 'red card' process at Trump's behest was simple corruption. If the fans think the game can be 'fixed' so easily, there's no game left to play. No jeopardy, no entertainment.

The annihilation of the Tory party following in Manchester would have seemed inconceivable only a few years ago. With Reform discredited, too, the right-wing press is just screaming into an empty hole.

I am suffering explosive rage after 7 attempts this week to contact Stockport Hyundai re; a quote for replacing a damaged wing mirror. On each occasion I have been disconnected, cut off mid-sentence, redirected to an incomprehensible message or put in a holding queue. Disgraceful business conduct.

Kier Starmer was elected to run this country. Rupert Murdock was not. His right-wing media screaming for Starmer to resign are an affront to democracy. Without exception.

It's amazing. The scattered remnants of the Tory Party think that an 'Apology Tour' will repair the damage done by their criminally inept cabinet of hedge fund gamblers, who destroyed this country's integrity. V.I.P fraud, Baroness Mone, ennobling illegitimate offspring....the works. Not a chance.

I dread to think what Trump might do when he loses his mandate in November. Invade Canada, invade Greenland, attack NATO, relocate Isreal to Nevada....change the constitution to make himself Ruler....who knows? The man has been hopelessly out of his depth from day one.

Petrolheads are seen as just another group of hobbyists. In truth, they're a danger to society. The accidents they cause, the pollution and noise are just part of it. There's also an associated politics: toxic, selfish, macho, climate-denying, often far-right. For their "fun", everyone suffers.

Having a plumber (with four rescue greyhounds) as an MP send the clearest possible message to Westminster. The electorate are sick of entitlement, corruption, self-enrichment, personal ambition and privilege from those granted power and influence by the populace. Westminster I'd stuffed!

In the torrent of outrage about Andrew's 'treachery' I've not seen one mention of the principle of a suspect being innocent until proven guilty. The evidence we've seen is conclusive, of course. Have a corrupt royal on top of a corrupt Tory party is tough to stomach. Integrity is left with judges.

Manchester Airport has introduced a punitive system at Terminal 2 whereby you are fined £100 (quick pay £40) for 'Failure to park in a designated area'. I was in the 'drop off' forecourt for THREE MINUTES to unload my wife and daughter. At no point was the car parked, (i.e. unattended). Outrageous

The party that’s “transforming British politics”… into a re-run of the worst government in living memory?
Pie chart graphic entitled “Reforming the old band?” Reform’s MPs are divided into two slices, of which the larger (5/8) comprises former Tory MPs Danny Kruger, Andrew Rosindell, Robert Jenrick, Suella Braverman and Lee Anderson. The other three are also annotated with their affiliation to the Conservative party: Nigel Farage was a Tory for 14 years, Richard Tice is a former donor, and Sarah Pochin was a Tory councillor until 2022.

POTUS's on-line attack on the late Bob Reiner is the clearest evidence yet that Trump's incandescent ego has completely barbeqyed his temporal lobes. Reiner being one of Trump's many detractors doesn't excuse this gross, abhorrent tirade.

Every time the Chancellor mentions another billion pounds, think £18.88 out of your pocket each year. That's £0.36p a week. Then tell me you'll notice it. An extra £10 billion for the NHS will cost you £3.60 a week. The price of a cup of coffee.

Andrew Mountbatten Windsor's family have bestowed high honours on numerous pop celebrities who have openly admitted engaging in sexual activity with underage 'groupies'. Geldhof, et all. Should they join him in disgrace?

Andrew Windsor's grave mistakes took place at a time when pop stars openly boasted about their hotel rooms being littered with under-age 'groupies'. No action was taken by the authorities. Young Andrew clearly considered himself a celebrity (of a kind) and thought the 'blind eye' applied to him.

We’d very much like to know more about this, from Rachel Reeves today 👀
While we were kept apart from our loved ones and feared for our families, the Conservatives partied in Downing Street and dished out contracts to their friends and to their donors.

We are still paying the bill for their waste and their cronyism.

So I’m pleased to tell you that, thanks to our covid corruption commissioner, almost £400 million has now been recovered for taxpayers that had been lost to covid fraud.

And we will continue that fight to recover more from those PPE contracts which failed to deliver.

But we won’t stop there.
