If our goal is to provide a positive reading experience for novice and inexperienced readers, the key is to offer books, stories, and reading material that evoke an ‘I can do it’ sentiment, lower the affective filter, and create a sense of accomplishment as readers (Rodrigo, 2024, p. 162) #langchat
