oh wow you just unlocked a memory
a red Coca-Cola branded keychain drink opener. It has a slot to open pop cans, an edge in the middle to open conventional bottles, and a bottle-cap shaped indent in the bottom to twist off twist caps

sometimes i wonder if Halifax’s council would consider more grandiose and adventurous city-building if our council chambers weren’t made of telemarketer cubicles

Fuck ChatGPT flyers. The future is broadsheets.
A crowded broadsheet with way too many fonts. It says:
Forget ChatGPT Flyers
Say it with
Broadsheets
Unlimited fonts
Stretch them
Or cram a really long sentence into one line for no good reason
No whitespace
Mix capital and lowercase
Pointing hands
(They're called manicules!)
Don't be left behind
Broadsheets are the future

Huh, weird. Looks like it was a 2025-2026 traffic management target: www.halifax.ca/sites/defaul... people using it as a shortcut maybe? Bayers Rd - Romans Ave - St Andrews Ave - Chisolm Ave and out to Connaught (or vice versa)? Romans was also traffic-calmed

screenshot of an instagram DM which reads:

"hey folks! just got my order, big fan of your sauces for a while. always excited about more sauce but i was disappointed to see AI-generated stickers. i like supporting your small business, but I also like seeing your small business support OTHER small businesses in your area by using designers instead of AI.

(And I feel bad throwing out stickers. I'd rather stick them.)

Not mad, just disappointed, still love the sauce."

Hey Halifax friends - there's a guy who just showed up to repair the retaining wall outside my house, the one that butts right up to the sidewalk. He claims the city sent him (their responsibility due to sidewalk) and that property owners are rarely told in advance. Have you heard of this?

People think the minions router being baller as a joke. But I have extensively tested it and it is one of the best possible Wifi 6E routers money can buy. Like someone at Illumination Studios was like "idk $80" and the router manufacturer was like gotchu fam.
