Rich Warner @rgwarner.bsky.social · 11h“Speed was not a factor”? Well, she’d as likely have killed him at 60 as 80, but I suspect driving to the road conditions (not the limit) and not being on her bloody phone would have made a difference. Ban her life, not six years. And an absolute ton of community service that she can bike to. 030
Rich Warner @rgwarner.bsky.social · 23hThe only problem there is buying it in a sufficiently crafty manner that none of those shits get to see a penny. 030
Rich Warner @rgwarner.bsky.social · 23hTalking of the 9-5. There several reports that Dolly Parton could have been a billionaire but just spunked the money sending books to kids and paying university tuition for people rather than building her ego. 140
Rich Warner @rgwarner.bsky.social · 23hAnd I’d fully fund small local pubs and breweries. Keep the passion projects going and make space for people to go and hide from their kids constantly playing their bloody musical instruments. 050
Rich Warner @rgwarner.bsky.social · 23hOh man. I’d buy a big fuck off motorbike and a couple of Porsches. And then make sure schools in my area get breakfast clubs, music fully funded with instruments and sports kits. Can you imagine the sheer joy of seeing any young person able to pick up sport or music? It’d be glorious. 160
Rich Warner @rgwarner.bsky.social · 07/10/2026I suspect much of this is the persistent lie that cyclist is a purely optional leisure activity, whereas driving is obviously only for real work. The idea that people might cycle to the shops or library is too inconvenient for this. 150
Rich Warner @rgwarner.bsky.social · 07/10/2026I’m so fed up with councillors getting away with the “innovative cycling routes” nonsense. It’s magic beans. Just give us the safe and practical cycling routes that are not innovative because they’ve already been proven to work and to be cost effective. 140
Rich Warner @rgwarner.bsky.social · 07/10/2026Thank you @katie0martin.ft.com and @robarmstrong.bsky.social I made the mistake of listening to the end of the most recent Unhedged podcast and now “charts on the radio” is singing in my ears for the rest of the day. 210
Rich Warner @rgwarner.bsky.social · 01/10/2026What stuck out to me was him stating an more cooperative approach. He’s the first Labour & CoOperative prime minister; it would be interesting to hear how this is likely to shape his policies. We never hear about the CoOp party; they sound like they have a very refreshing approach. 120
Rich Warner @rgwarner.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Reform really don’t like scrutiny. All the more reason to closely monitor what they’re up to. 000
Rich Warner @rgwarner.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Drivers annoy me when they leave their cars on the pavement because apparently they shouldn’t be made to walk a short distance. Our local primary school is ridiculously hazardous at school opening / closing times, entirely due to the selfishness of parents in cars. 110

Rich Warner @rgwarner.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Three point deduction, suspended for 6 months. They won’t get anything severe. Should be given a punishment that is both harsh and survivable (but probably not with these players). Relegation to National League North. Can be back in six years if they don’t break the PSR rules. 220
Rich Warner @rgwarner.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Oh, I love that. Never understand why an EV needs to turn the car off. But I’ve also never just stomped on an accelerator pedal without intending to move because I’m not a moron. 100
Rich Warner @rgwarner.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Well, incompetent or her lawyer realises it’s beneficial to act incompetent rather than careless. 100
Rich Warner @rgwarner.bsky.social · 29/09/2026It won’t move if it’s kept in Park. FFS. Lazy drivers trying to shift the blame for their incompetence. 220
Rich Warner @rgwarner.bsky.social · 27/09/2026How’s this going? Because my area is still as hostile to walking or cycling as it was when the Tories were in charge. 000
Rich Warner @rgwarner.bsky.social · 25/09/2026Did they not talk to any truckers when designing this? Did a single person from the design team go on a trip with a trucker? This is astonishingly basic stuff. 000

Rich Warner @rgwarner.bsky.social · 21/09/2026We need a “pavement blocked for car information” sign to just place in the middle of the driving lane. 030
Rich Warner @rgwarner.bsky.social · 13/09/2026Well this arrived on Friday. Last 20 months of a lease so effectively try before we buy. It’s an absolute delight to drive. Still need to sit down and work out the infotainment system. But it’s gorgeous. 111
Rich Warner @rgwarner.bsky.social · 08/09/2026Why aren’t these men busy doing work? Instead they congregate and obstruct hard working people trying to go around their business. (Am I doing this right?) 000

Rich Warner @rgwarner.bsky.social · 19/08/2026Thank goodness we never ever see drivers going over lights that aren’t green, or your point would look like a very poor attempt at petty point scoring. Now do the danger from a driver jumping the lights and a cyclist going over a red light who bears the risk? And what’s the impact? 010
Rich Warner @rgwarner.bsky.social · 19/08/2026This is because Reform is a grievance grift. Make you angry and get funding for it. No fixes because that’s boring and doesn’t pay like whipping up hate does. 160
