What I love about The Cage is it really does have its own flavor from the rest of TOS. So much of the dialog and production has just a taste of Forbidden Planet and some other pulp sci-fi, but the seeds of Star Trek are there. I love that they got a 2nd pilot. #TOSSatNight

Dear SNW, that is not even remotely close to how black holes work. That was like, Armageddon meets Fast Five levels of bad physics. I get that Star Trek plays loose with physics, but if you're going to mess with it that much, invent a new phenomenon instead of having Uhura WALK INTO a black hole.

A fantasy novel having a Black king and princess is as significant as a science fiction story with a Black captain. Benny Russell could have been a real author writing fantasy stories that the prophets supplanted with Sisko and DS9. I am not discounting your concern, but it's not implausible to me.
