Raise the issue to the council, they'll say it's the responsibility of social services, they'll say it's the responsibility of the police, they'll tell you to talk to your neighbour and that there's nothing they can do lol. Talk to them yourself and you risk violence or 'revenge' by being noisier.

I hope some day I live somewhere that doesn't have the issue of neighbourly noise. Every upstairs neighbour seems by-law required to have a loud child, stomp with every step they make, play loud music, and have multiple-hour phonecalls, and scream at football in summer.

I'd like food to just... have more of a purpose. I know you can just 'not do it' when it comes to optimising something, but I'd like to have more incentive than that to engage with cooking foods like beetroot soup, or pumpkin pies. Vintage Story does this well with a max hp boost for dietary variety

Adding on to this, it's hard to make food have effects that doesn't just step on the toes of potions. I think a good compromise would be to make more food items useable in potions, or for food to simply give a much shorter effect. e.g 1 minute of night vision for eating a cooked carrot, vs potion 3

I think this would fit in a really nice spot as a drop before any combat updates. Most food just has a cooked version such as potatoes, rarely is there any real baking or cooking, like with making cakes, pumpkin pie, or cookies. I'd like to see more multiple-ingredient meals with bonuses to them.

As is, most players get bread early on because seeds are abundant everywhere, then later move on to golden carrots or steak from a farm, I'd like to see that change so that there's more reason to pick foods beyond just what has the highest restoration for hunger and saturation.

It'd be really nice if each food item had a different purpose, and they functioned a bit more like effect potions. I'd also like a lot more dishes in the game to cook with, like carrot soup giving night vision, or baked potatoes giving cold resistance, that sort of thing.

I think some areas Minecraft could really do with fleshing out incentives for are food - not the hunger system, but food itself. Right now the only differences in food are suspicious stews having additional effects, golden apples for defensive buffs, and golden carrots for the optimal hunger heal.

I think horror in general fails completely when it makes you feel like you're trying to be scared by actors and the monster is consciously attempting to spook you. Atmosphere, build-up, tension, suspense. Don't abandon all of this just to have something loud and obnoxious for a cheap surprise.

Gotta wonder why FA's maintenance is so monstrously long this time. I don't work in tech, though, so I wouldn't know, but it does make me nervous at what might take so long, compared to regular maintenance that only takes an hour or so.
