I would say that you can have a valid, perhaps even ethically justifiable “reason” behind a murder but I can’t think of a way you could argue that, ethically, raping someone was justified or for the greater good.

Largely rhetorical question… I really want to understand why people (particularly men) are so incensed by a rape case that they feel the need to argue sides. I feel like this is such a tell, and that people should be mortified to share this opinion as it is so very obvious.

Hemp products are dumb - they are completely unregulated. Legalize pot and be done with it. The problem with that, for the GOP, is that then their drugs to prison pipeline shuts down. And they can no longer use the “I smelled pot” excuse for searching minorities.

Kids are tough. I remember we got her flu shot during Covid at a drive up clinic at her pediatrician. She was 3. Despite seeing me, her dad, and brother all get the shots before her by the nurse, she still wailed like some lady just rolled up next to her and jabbed her in the arm at random.
