Party In The Front - Comms Closed @partyinthefront.bsky.social · 30/06/2025

I can finally post 4 of these at once. The main pieces in almost 2 years of this new hobby. #miniatures #diorama

A diorama of an entrance to a cave or dungeon entrance in a wall of rocks. The entrance is a sculpture of a wolf or feline's head. Stone steps lead up to it, sided by grass and stones.

A miniature diorama of Arnold Bocklin's Isle of the Dead, seen from the front. A boat with 2 mysterious figures, sliding on dark green water, approaches an island composed of rocks and cypress tree.
A miniature diorama of Arnold Bocklin's Isle of the Dead, seen from the front. A boat with 2 mysterious figures, sliding on dark green water, approaches an island composed of rocks and cypress tree.

A diorama of a fisherman's house by the sea. The 3 story red house with blue roof is on stilts and a pier beside it connects it to land. There are barrels and stands with fish in front of it. The fisherman can be seen arriving on the pier, and his wife too, watering the plants on the second floor.

The final piece in full color (grey stone and autumnal tones). Leafy drying vines, brushes and grass have been added. Moss covers some of the stones and rocks. The figure, (more recognizably a cat wizard with a red hat and grey robe) is glued down.

The largest subspecies of Elf, the Hermismar, commonly referred to as Forest Elves, are a diverse people with a deep connection to the magics of Arbor, the first god of Nature. Hermismar can reside anywhere in which nature prevails and while most are humanoid, some are significantly different. Centaurs and Satyr are both subspecies of Forest Elf and are held in high regard by their culture.
Forest Elves are mostly distrustful of other species and reside in isolated Sanctuary Groves. However as the Empire has grown, these places of nature have started to disappear and led to a shrinking population of ‘true’ Forest Elves. Xenophobic policies meant many Groves were forcefully entered and sacked by Legionnaires.
These days, while Groves do exist, most Forest Elves currently live in cities as second class citizens. In these urban environments, away from nature, the Elves operate in a weakened magical state which leads to a reduced lifespan and intelligence.
In recent years however, more and more Elves have fled to begin construction of new Sanctuary Groves and it is hoped that as the Empire falls, the Elves will rise.

Full Image of some forest elves, one is a humanoid archer, another a frail satyr and the third a large centaur with a sword.

I also just have been busy, training to be a teacher, enjoying life offline more. I'm in a great place mentally and physically and don't spend much time online anymore. Just how it is.

But I am really enjoying dabbling in some fantasy stuff, that's something I'm becoming quite passionate about and really having fun with. It doesn't mean I won't finish Ascension, I will, but for now I just do not have any real want to work on it for a bit.

110

Revised_Dan @reviseddan.bsky.social · 01/05/2025

Thanks for the love on the artwork guys, I've been drawing a lot but just... Not posting much. I hit a wall with Ascension as multiple people just... Kind of let me down on helping? And that put me off the project for a bit but I am planning on getting back to it.

The People of Pryrden iv - The Taunum Originally from the Southerly continent of Ulthin, Taunum are strictly regulated. Their natural affinity with the God of War, Tau, has almost been lost due to strict Ostadum laws on Taunum Magical Practices.

This is a drawing originally drawn as a bonus on my patreon. I'd like to offer character sheets like this as a commission tier with a character and then a load of items that character might like or use. This will be £40, I hope this is ok, please send me a message if you would like one, thank you.

The Non-Hobbit Bromance Caucus. In Mirkwood they still use bone, but the Dwarves have solved the riddle of iron.

Legolas in a cape and patterned tunic. His skin is brownish and his head is shaved on one side. He is barefoot and painted black from the knees down.

Gimli holding an iron axe and wearing a blue hooded cloak with golden detailing. He looks like a cross between Poirot and Agamemnon's golden mask.

Drawing of Maarva Andor recording her funerary message. The text has been altered with an added piece of paper atop the dialogue, which now reads as "fight the empire!" rather than as it was originally made, a nod to alterations in the show's dialogue
