After The Walking Dead left me with PTSD in Season 7, I only went back to it because I wanted to see the series finale, only to discover it was just a cliffhanger for spinoffs. Now the early seasons bring me no joy.

Every "Edgy" FX show of the aughts (The Shield, Sons of Anarchy, Nip/Tuck, Rescue Me) They had me on the edge of my seat in the 1st season, but they all jumped the shark and morphed into boring soap operas by the 3rd season. Maybe I just didn't notice the bad acting until the shine wore off.

Oh well. There are plenty of novels, comic books, and episodes of New Trek to keep me entertained until they get around to something new. ...and by "new" I hope it's a new series about a ship of exploration not another prequel. We need a new "next gen" type series, a proper sequel to Voyager/DS9.
