The prison population rose again this week and now stands at 86,843. This time last week there were 121 fewer people in prison. The prison estate should not hold more than 81,684 people, the population currently exceeds this level by 5,159. howardleague.org/prison-watch

If you have a loved one that has appealed their IPP sentence but was unsuccessful. Please get in contact with the CCRC. If it is easier for you guys we can send you the relevant forms out to you. There is a certain criteria to meet the CCRC’s fresh hold. So some case may not be considered.

Astonishing that, almost 14 years on from this failed judicial experiment being abolished, so many people are still greatly impacted by this cruel sentence. History will judge & future generations will be shocked at the callous indifference towards the IPP issue shown by many in authority.
