Live TV via my telnet BBS! Needs SyncTerm or similar for true colour, but the 16 colour version should work on your retro systems! telnet://ezycom.retroswim.net:2323 Software is called telnetvision, and it's incredible! github.com/hmderdoc/tel...

The lack of introspection is mind blowing. "I upload raw, unedited, casual gameplay footage to a website already saturated with it, but it's other people's fault I'm not succeeding!" Not *desiring* credit, that's natural, but feeling actual resentment that there's no prize for simply showing up.

I don't care If 1 get flak with this but I'II be honest
Even If It's a few seconds. I would like to be asked
first for permission If my footage Is used than
just outright stolen without permission, It's one
main reason I have the baked In watermark and
sometimes even that does not stop someone
outright stealing footage from my longplay and
not which I can't really do anything about and It
does more than grind my gears especially when
my vids are non-profit by mv own choice iust sa
some POS can continue to rise off my work while
I'm stuck at the bottom. It's actually one of the
reasons I'm about to quit making longplay videos
of obscure qames or any game

Generated by this, or real ad from Australia? (Obviously the former, but wow, it's so authentic!! Nice work!)

Obtained. The label reading "Space Quest Historian" is under the secondhand store's plastic wrap, so presumably was on there from the factory? In any case, this one is not still sealed. The sleeve with the aforementioned label is slit along one edge. Still, it's in VERY nice condition!

A decidedly un-Japanese, un-secondhand find in a Japanese secondhand retro game shop!! Still sealed! @spacequesthistorian.com

Stumbled across a @lgr-yt.bsky.social video while researching a repair, seems we have similar taste 😎 My cab is somewhat similar to LGR's Dynamo, but built by Aussie arcade giant LAI. I have the common squealing audio problem, waiting for a replacement HB-45A hybrid module to fix it. Great game

Repost with something you own that most people don't. Sega TeraDrive -- A joint venture between Sega and IBM, combining a 286 PC with VGA, and a Sega MegaDrive. Unlike Amstrad MegaPC, the PC and MD are on the same board, and are connected through a bus arbitrator, and can access each other's HW.

I love a good IRL reference to a retro game, but imagine my surprise seeing one on the wall of a men's room in a tavern in suburban Brisbane! 🤣🤣🤣

Can a $4300 (in 1993 dollars) "budget" UNIX workstation run Doom? Just barely it turns out. Sun SPARCclassic, 50MHz microSPARC. ~10.5fps, but the 1% lows were perhaps 2 or 3. At least the timedemo doesn't desync here, which is more than can be said for sgidoom!

Sorting out the shelves, came across my 2 oddball Space Quest games, thought I'd share! SQ1 VGA, for Amiga, under the KIXX XL budget label. Sierra Value Pack, feat. SQ2, Thexder, and 3D Helicopter Sim. Despite being a cost reduced bundle, you still got the cool colour comic Space Piston feelie!
