This was one of my favorite phones, I had the O2 XDA Exec back in the day. It needs a new battery but gosh heck did I love this thing! It look so nice in black with the blue LED backlit keyboard.

Brains are strange things, it both fights me on exercise, yet I know just how much better I feel after doing it. It might not be much, 30 mins on a treadmill and 20 minutes of dumbbells, but it does help the brain juices. ….also helps some other juices too. Hahah

Seems that my midnight awakenings are being caused by overnight drops in blood sugar thanks to the GLP-1. I was able to get back to sleep last night by drinking smoothie to get it back up. Hopefully planning for this can make for a better rested hoosk.

My beef with where IT is at these days is that it’s become fundamentally uninteresting. More and more is abstracted into Cloud, IaaC, AI. Fuck me, give me some old mainframes, weird hardware, funky standards to work with. Way more interesting imo. I think I got into this industry 30 years late.

It is an *extremely* little know rule that certain Canadian First Nations people can freely cross the border both ways and live in the US if they feel like it, without having to go through any normal immigration processes.

Unfortunately, it’s not a right that Canada extends to First Nations and Indigenous folks from the US, this is because the Jay Treaty was signed between the GB and the US and as such Canadian courts have held that it was not implemented into Canadian law.
