Broke: play an old game super conveniently at great quality on an official emulator with save states, cloud data storage, and a great UI Woke: take weeks to mod an old console, spend tons of money on scalers and Bluetooth controllers to get roughly the same result but it’s .0001% more pixelated

Awesome! The 3DS one is great. Admittedly though I never beat it. I got lost at some point near the end and couldn’t get back in. Adored Dread, cleared it in a weekend or two because I couldn’t get enough of it haha

Agreed. Producers did their own checks/smoke tests and light QA at my first software role, and boy did that make me an advocate for QA personnel for the rest of my career lol It is actually appalling how QA *leads* are treated when it comes to gamedev let alone analysts
