The poorest 20% Britons pay higher proportion of income in taxes than the richest 20%. The bottom 50% of the population owns less than 5% of wealth, bottom 20% has 0.5%. Can't reduce child/household poverty and relieve suffering without equitable distribution of income/wealth.
