After being on DeviantART for over half my life, I deactivated my account. It's filled with AI slop and I will NEVER support somewhere that's so filled with AI, especially a place that's meant to be for human artists. Going forward, I'm going to stick with VGEN to find actual artists to work with.

📍 Yo! Call Resonant, Res, or Crimson; I answer to any of those. About me: Old (30s), Jewish, non-binary (they/she), queer, Canadian, have an addiction of commissioning artwork of my blorbos, and happen to be obsessed with my own character. My passion is the written word. 😍 Minors & Antis DNI.

I haven't written in over a year because epilepsy and FND fucked my brain. I thought I lost my capacity to. My partner encouraged me to keep at it because she knew I didn't. And, after tackling a story, I realized she was right. Fuck you, perfectionism brain. You were WRONG. I can still write. 😘

(Resized.) My absolute favorite artwork of my beloved boy! My partner gave me the funds to get this art and I couldn't be more grateful to her. 😭 Cresil is my biggest comfort and muse so it brings me so much joy to have such a beautiful artwork of him. 😍 Artist: vgen.co/colette #OCsky

Guess who got diagnosed with osteoarthritis in their back AND fibromyalgia? 🙃 I was in the hospital with it PLUS a severe FND flare. I can barely walk but they sent me home because nothing physical was wrong with me lol. I'm staying at my partner's to recover since I absolutely cannot do stairs.

Hey, uh, sorry for disappearing off the face of the planet. Let's just say life has been a thing and difficult to deal with. I'm back though... hopefully? lol.

Honestly, I am totally here for this strategy. ;)

A post from existennialmemes on Tumblr reads:

I am no longer explaining my chronic illnesses. I'm only ominously referencing them like I'm a fantasy realm NPC dropping plot hooks:
I am besieged by the affliction
The ritual was successful, but it has drained me. I need time to recuperate.
I can't do that, because of The Curse.
Dark forces are conspiring within me. I must conserve my strength to battle them.
Unseen foes assault me. I cannot strike back with blows, but I can lessen their influence by consuming certain alchemical rites.

One of the shittiest artists I've ever encountered, and I wasn't even the one who commissioned them. Yes, Kuran's PSA is long, but please read it if you're considering working with this artist. The headache isn't worth it.

I wrote something five months ago and then disappeared off the face of the planet. There's been much more going on with my health and it's honestly been terrifying. I don't know if I'll ever be able to write like I did before. The thought sucks, but my health needs to take priority.

Hey y'all. Sorry I haven't been around in a month on this account. I have other accounts where I've been more active (particularly my yume and personal which I won't be giving out), but it's been pretty dry here. I'll explain why in a thread.

Explain your @: I've had many usernames over the years but a good majority had Crimson in them. When I came out as non-binary, my old username wasn't suitable to me anymore. I literally went on sites and searched for cool words and found Resonant, then smashed it with Crimson. Boom. New username.
