Partnerships remain critical in advancing Indigenous Peoples’ access to renewable energy and climate finance. During #UNPFII side event, Terence Hay-Edie of the @undp.org -GEF SGP reflected how collaboration with REP helped expand existing biodiversity work toward Indigenous Peoples’ energy access.
“The work with the REP was an important opportunity to expand our existing work with Indigenous Peoples on biodiversity to explore Indigenous Peoples improved access to energy under the GEF climate change focal area.”
