I've realized how out of touch I am with "everyday society" by not having an Instagram or Facebook account. I was watching a Danish game show with my wife, and I never realized that all the contestants were actually "celebrity" food influencers. I thought they were all just randos.

... because Svelte CSF finally becomes part of core! 🎉😆 In the near future you won't need the the addon at all, @storybook/svelte will handle .stories.svelte files just fine. :) This is just one of the improvements we're working on for Svelte for Storybook 11. 🤗

I've tried that as well in an attempt to create smaller and more reviewable PRs, but unfortunately it didnt make it that much easier to review, and the code juggling that was required to react to change requests at the bottom of the stack made it all very inefficient.

My first open source release: storybook-events-inspector. If your design system's public API is its events, "did it fire, and with what?" is a question the browser makes weirdly hard. This Storybook panel answers it for every story, with zero setup. github.com/Nubville/storybook-events-inspector

MSW add-on for Storybook is downloaded 1,539,807 times per week! That makes it one of the most used add-ons in the entire Storybook ecosystem. Pretty wild. And with the latest release, it's the best way to mock the network in your stories, too. github.com/mswjs/msw-s...

@storybook.js.org has been a great companion for working with agents, reviewing the UI components agents made, and making sure components stay pure and stateless. (I have to admit that, as a human, I was too lazy to write stories, but with agents it actually creates a pretty good feedback loop)

✋ We are in Storybook. 🙂 But it's really difficult, and potentially impossible, to have a single format that encompasses the nuances of all UI frameworks in a single format. Ie. Vue has slots, Svelte has snippets, CE has CSS attributes, React has children, etc. and they are all very different.

Debates about kids' "screen time" are always so unnuanced that they are useless. The spectrum between a kid having Nokia 3210 without a battery and giving them full access to a PornHub Pro Max subscription is pretty damn wide, but it's always just reduced to "weekly hours looking at pixels"

FWIW I've had great success with this exact approach, so have many of my peers. Write everything yourself, get critique by AI, re-write yourself, repeat. But it's very easy to fall into the trap of "can you draft a suggestion for me" > copy-paste sentence in, and then the flow of the words is gone

The Danish Gambling Authority has blocked "not gambling" Polymarket for providing gambling services without a license. One of the things I'm most proud of about the Danish culture is the No Bullshit mindset. "Well if you read the letter of the law" always looses to common sense, and I like that.

If you ever decide to sync up I'd love to be a fly on the wall, because you're totally right, there's a bunch of stuff in that helper lib that should just be a core SB concern instead, but we have limited WC knowledge in the core team, so we're not too confident in the way forward.

So please, please stop using AI this hard when it comes to writing. I'd rather read typos than a thousand em dashes. I'd rather read boring or broken english than soulless catchy phrases. I want to read what _you_ have to say. I want to see the human behind the text.

Aha, thank you! Didn't even know there was a "non-standardized" CEM format, but in that perspective I think it's pretty clear cut what to do then.

I dont know how the performance stacks up against read+parse, but importing also puts it in Node's module cache, which can be good or bad depending on your use case.
010
Jeppe Reinhold 🇩🇰 @reinhold.is · 15/08/2026
There's also the alternative with imports, that will give you parsing automatically, and for static paths it's strongly typed! const { default: document } = await import('./document.json', { type: 'json' });
