As I sat here reviewing the picture book manuscripts I elected to write this season, I realized that I was definitely feeling a certain way about the state of the world. In the middle of migration and grief stories, I had two about inter-generational healing. Virtual 🤍💛 for anyone who needs it.

Flew into Boston to see the family & do fall 'tings with my #1. Went 🍎 picking to a farm that had no 🍎s. They suggested we go 🎃 picking instead, 🎃s were already picked. Then decided 2 do a 🌽 maze. As farmers we realized it was sorghum growing not 🌽. Felt like I was in a real life picture book. LOL
