I went to see Scream 7 last night, my first theater experience in years. My expectations were low, so it somehow surpassed them while still being... kinda bad? Script felt like fan fiction and some of the acting and dialogue were awful, but I still had fun. I need to go to the movies more often.

The moment I saw this photo, "Five Cash Five!" reverberated through my skull. It's a core memory of growing up a Xennial in PA.

When I was in my early 20s, I worked at a my hometown Italian deli in PA. Our local radio station (probably 93.5 WSBG) played in the background throughout the day. That is when I first heard this song a dozen times a day, for over a month. And every time it came on, we all sang it. I still do. 😁
