The rendered shading always throws me off with low poly new games, and seeing it like this finally had it click for me. Id love to see more newer games prebake vertice lighting in their levels/characters more. Some rendered lighting is good but it shouldnt be the end all option

As Murk implemented Ray-tracing into #Rareware's #Perfectdark it suddenly made sense why modern retro revival games just look off, and abit ugly. Its because they rarely bake shading into their levels/characters and use lighting to render off these low poly models instead.

The newest branch of #Rareware's #PerfectDark netplay branch multiplayer side is nearly complete! There is still some desync issues with challenges and some modded in levels, however the base multi itself is near functional!

Currently we are the first to ever complete a challenge over PC netplay. This will also support custom servers as well, so it can help reduce host advantage! There will also be more features like GE mode, where the game entirely plays like #Goldeneye

#PerfectDark from #rareware is about to get a new netplay branch of the PC port! Murk17 has been doing an amazing job at getting bots, and weapons to work ontop of a handful of new features. This is still a work in progress ofc but I wanted to help make this project more public. More to come soon!

I know it's few and far between but I've always appreciated your straight forward titles. It gets tiring seeing "this mod will raise your credit score and give you a blumkin!" For every game video, and then it's like a pallet recolor of a mod/game that barely does anything mind blowing.

For someone as big into DK games as myself, I personally enjoyed the DK Isle DLC, however I think this should've been free/cheaper for everyone. Unless you really want to explore a love letter to the original game like a museum than its worth it.

As an avid fan of DK Bananza, here is a list of games that cost the same as the small DLC i recommend instead: Herald of Havoc, Yellow Taxi Goes Vroom, Minishoot' Adventures, Stardew Valley, Undertale, and if you want a game about breaking ore: Deep Rock Galactic is currently 10USD
