Someone gifted me the expansion to Underwater Cities about 5 years ago. They didn’t realize it wasn’t the base game and I didn’t have the heart to tell them. I never got the base game and now I see it’s like $150. Might just sell the expansion and wait for a reprint.

Amazing game of #Root today! I got to play Otters against cats and birds. Very close last turn. In the end I got lucky as I drew the right Favor and secured the points for the win! Very fun, but I will buy the Partisan deck, as the base deck is too swingy and some of the cards are not great.

Someone I used to know died recently. We drifted apart after elementary school and I didn’t know the person he became. Yet I’m left remembering of all the times we hung out as kids. And those are good memories to me, so I hold them dear. He is gone but you’re not forgotten.
