Netflix has confirmed that the sequel to KPop Demon Hunters will debut through a theatrical rollout worldwide rather than immediately debut on streaming. It's honestly a relief and exciting since I wanna see more films on the big screen and eager to see what Huntrix does next.

Definitely not happy the merger got approved, but I’m not gonna bow my head in despair. I’m still fighting for a brighter future for filmmaking no matter what and I know this merger will only hurt Ellison in the long run. No matter what, I’m still holding strong for good movies.

Hollywood and executives can try as they might, but I firmly believe that good films will always endure no matter what. As long as audiences still want more and filmmakers want to keep telling stories, they can never kill the art of cinema.

DreamWorks has a brand new animated film out where two Filipino best friends end up on a magical island that tests their friendship. It's both one of the best from DreamWorks and one of the best of the year. Anyway, here's my review of Forgotten Island.

by "meh" i mean that it neither improves or takes away from the original look; its like a sidegrade; you have to seek out those spots where the god rays come in to be like WOW AMAZING. but outside of that the zones are just. Ok. (& again something else in the lighting is making those areas too dark)

intentional implementation that plays to WoW's strength in art style than just "realistic lighting." Places where the fog works great (that ive been) are the dark forest in the nw of Zephyr, the wetlands, durotar. places where its meh is tirisfal/darnassus. (attched SSs of my run to riverglades)4/4

this isn't about subjective "i like it so its good" "i like my filet mignon drenched in 9 tubs of pickle juice" opinions; its about objective flaws in art direction and implementation. There's a bizarre juxtaposition of realism with stylization going on, and I just wish the lighting had a more 3/4

🏳️‍🌈 Redcloud vs The Dark Lord 💀 COMMISSIONS OPEN @redcloud16.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

The weird realistic lighting in general sort of clashes w the baked in lighting of the original intention of the art direction in some places; it almost feels half-baked. If only it was as intentional as the water, especially the animated texture where the h20 meets land, id "like" it, but 2/4

🏳️‍🌈 Redcloud vs The Dark Lord 💀 COMMISSIONS OPEN @redcloud16.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

its hit or miss whether it looks good in a zone or not; looks wonderful in Durotar but kind of ass in the Barres. There's a lack of direction in places like Zephyr where it covers up the textured skybox, as if there's no focus. Something outside the fog is making everyting too dark, like Tirisfal1/4

Vie wof My Hyjal from the newly added area west of Thudner Bluff; I prefer the more saturated look here with the Fog disabled; i like how clear Mt Hyjal is, however, it is a giant flat blue object; where with the fog it gets more a gradient, which I think is better (in this zone specfically)

view of Thuder Bluff from the newly added area just west of the City with the fog disabled; everything is wonderfully saturated and the upgraded view distance is very much appreciated

view of Mt Hyjal from the new area added west of Thunder Bluff with the Fog enabled; fog looks semi-decent in Mulgore even if it desaturates everything and makes it all smoke-y; the view of Hyjal is nice, though a bit too obscured; gonna have to play with 0.5 values with the Fog system next time im on.

View of Thunder Bliff with the fog enabled; everything is desaturated and misty; and the view distance is cut. Not as strong visually.

I still think Kung Fu Panda 2 is the best entry in the franchise. The emotional highs of that film are so rich and the scene where Po remembers his past still is just as haunting as it was in 2011.

am i crazy? ppl "crying" becuz WoWF has realistic lighting, "it looks how i always imagined it!" ??? WoW looked the way it was intended. Like Sam Didier's artwork. It doesn't need real lighting, it gains nothing from it... that was it's art style. i dont get the obsession w/ realism. the two clash

this is the kinda shit that irks me about modern blizz. 1 of your main selling points; this atmo fog thing, directly covering up these beautiful textures (a big strength of wow) as if Depts arent even talking to each other; or like, understanding why this texture would exists to begin with. ???

Big problem with online politics is that it is mostly an appeal to fantasy rather than any actual political analysis. "My idealogy is the correct one when faced with chaos cultist and Tyrannid invasions. BTW, elect my sexpest candidate so he can do insider trading for 4 years."

Pen, watercolor, black & white charcoal pencil.

Another featured piece from the Spooky Pants book.

A man in a sweater stands with his hands on his hips looking out of a large window with the curtains open. Things aren’t looking good outside, reader. A massive winged demon is emerging from the clouds as dozens of little ghosts and bone demons rip through the sky. On the ground below we see townsfolk running through the grass. Our man in the window is in no mood for this. He lets us know, “Oh, I am in no mood for this.” His dog looks out the window as well, wagging its tail.

Fantasia (1940) inspired drawing. I think I could’ve gone a little heavier with the chaos outside but we’ll try again with fresh drawings this October. I like how the clouds turned out. Trying to balance my sloppy lines with more detail can be tricky but I think we achieved a good result.
