Stopping drinking isn't the hard part. It's what comes after that breaks most people. Anyone can put the bottle down for a while, but facing what made you pick it up in the first place is where the real work begins. Sobriety isn't about removing alcohol, it's about rebuilding the parts of you that learned to rely on it.
