I grew up playing those games … we played the card games Rook and Spades … kids these days play Uno. So many digital options but playing board games is like reading an actual book … there is something different when you hold it in your hand. #bfc530

Those positive communications home go far … I like to take pictures of the kids doing work in class and texting it to parents… especially if it is project based. Parents like getting messages about their kids actually enjoying school. But, like you, it is hard to fit in . #bfc530

I am in untested class so I do not have a lot of interference with what I do because the focus is on tested subject matter. For the most part, you do what you need to do and show student success … people stay out of your space. #bfc530

Yes having a structure that helps you understand autonomy and helps build a foundation … resource acquisition … will help you be autonomous. I have a great team around me build that structure … I am now teacher who helps build that support structure for others. #bfc530

As a veteran teacher, I enjoy a lot of autonomy. Although, I am in a system of rules and standards that must be followed so so I am not really sure if I have real autonomy or if I just think I do because my Admin isn’t telling me what to do all the time. #bfc530
