My hours at work were just dropped from 40 to 20 hours a week. When I asked about my health insurance, they said they never thought about that. Would be nice to know since I have an MRI scheduled. Ironically enough, if there was SNAP money, I’d qualify for it now as a single parent.

WILD story. A DHS officer shot at a man he thought was fleeing (a judge dismissed all charges). Bullets went into the driver's side window, through his jacket collar, and into the empty passenger seat. An MPD cop on the scene says he was ordered not to put it in the police report.

WIC - women, infants, and children will also be impacted like SNAP in November. Mothers who are able to get free cans of formula will not be getting them, and food pantries don’t carry all the types of specialty formulas, if any at all. Pro-life doesn’t extend to starving newborns and babies.

My son woke me up at 6:40am this morning to tell me he’d tested positive for Covid. I spent all day yesterday with him thinking he had allergies or a cold. Fingers crossed that I don’t get it a 4th time because I don’t have an easy time of it. 🤞🏻

My pups are looking at “war-ravaged” and rainy Portland and wondering if it’s worth being outside in their new cozy jackets. Jerry got rain in his eye and isn’t so sure about this time in his life. Gamora started rolling in the dirt/mud.

Jerry, one, is wearing a green plaid fuzzy coat. He’s a pitbull/boxer mix. Gamora, five, is wearing a white plaid fuzzy jacket. She’s a tan and white pitbull. Both are under the patio looking out to the backyard to see how much rain there is.

Jerry, a brindle pitbull/boxer mix, is one year old and is looking at the camera with one eye closed and my eye open. I’m pretty sure he came running to me because he got rain in his eye. He’s wearing his new fuzzy green and white jacket.

Gamora’s white coat made it 20 minutes before she started rolling in the dirt. When I called her over to me, she wouldn’t even look at me.
