Today the Middleborough Historical Museum holds an "extensive" collection of General Tom Thumb's & Lavinia's personal items. Some locals even call it the "Tom Thumb Museum." I'll have to visit it one day & peruse! P.S. In Massachusetts, Middleborough & Middleboro are the same place.

"The Middleborough Historical Museum is a museum located at 18 Jackson Street, Middleborough, Massachusetts." The museum is actually comprised of seven buildings. This photo from Wikipedia is of Mill House #1 (built circa 1820). It houses the Thumb collection.

After seeing a clip from a video about Finnish horror, I actively sought out a way to watch it. My first viewing was on an imported French disc. Do you know @severinfilms.bsky.social? They released it in their set ALL THE HAUNTS BE OURS: A COMPENDIUM OF FOLK HORROR VOL. 2 & licensed it to Shudder.

Ellen Allien's BERLINETTE is her album I keep returning to. It doesn't have her breakthrough tracks from Germany (Those were earlier), but it was a time of her breaking through in the US for electronic music heads. It's got hope, melancholy, & naughtiness (PUSH). Tracks range from techno to pop.

My personal favorite Fifteen album is EXTRA MEDIUM KICK BALL STAR. Every song is a story. Some are really sad & deal with abuse, but the punk is poppy & singer Jeff Ott's croons. He was once a runaway, Berkeley gutter punk. Their cover of THE RAINBOW CONNECTION hits with feeling.

Heaven's to Betsy wasn't around that long compared to some bands. They don't have a lot of full length recordings. Their album CALCULATED is essential to listen to for them & for that time in Riot Grrrl. Then Corin Tucker went on to Sleater-Kinney.

I seriously have wondered if I could invent a cat toy, too! All it could take is one good one to have a nice side income for life. Have you seen the original Cat Dancer? It's the simplest thing. It's a wire & a piece of rolled cardboard. I've had cats go nuts for it.
