rcarcases.bsky.social @rcarcases.bsky.social · 11/07/2025Picked this up last week. I am not a fan of the underground era but I kept hearing Bodé was one of the pillars so I gave it a shot. The restoration and colors are beautiful. @imagecomics.com did an excellent job with this. 000

rcarcases.bsky.social @rcarcases.bsky.social · 30/03/2025Strongly disagree: If you work with young people and sound like an old fart, that is how they are going to treat you. I’m a boomer and this is the most boomer post ever. You have to code switch like black folks do. 010
rcarcases.bsky.social @rcarcases.bsky.social · 28/03/2025When you have friends that have good taste in comics and they all are buying a book, get that book. I read this yesterday. Good horror story with surprisingly bigger themes than just horror. By @bubbleszine.bsky.social and translated by Ryan Holmberg. 010

rcarcases.bsky.social @rcarcases.bsky.social · 17/03/2025I feel no sympathy. When someone told me months ago that they were going to only deport criminals, I replied “define criminals” and I explained to them that this is a term they can reshape any way they want 000

rcarcases.bsky.social @rcarcases.bsky.social · 16/03/2025I listened to”The Awesome Comics Podcast” for the Sean Michael Robinson (“Living the Line”) interview. He spent the first 10 minutes verbally fellating Dave Sim. Now I’m conflicted because I love their Smudge line and supporting Holmberg’s work. I may have to hold my nose for Holmberg’s work. 000
rcarcases.bsky.social @rcarcases.bsky.social · 16/03/2025Listened to a comics podcast for the first time in over a year. It was the “Awesome Comics Podcast” out of the UK. It’s amazing that, regardless of location, all comics podcasts start off with a ‘90s rock guitar riff and boring banter that would give “The Big Bang Theory” a run for its money. 010

rcarcases.bsky.social @rcarcases.bsky.social · 09/03/2025“The Scrapbook of Life and Death” by J Webster Sharp is completely out of the box as far as graphic novels go.
