FWA was great, I spent most of my time with a small group of friends who made it special. I barely got any sleep and took very few photos but I have so many great memories. Can't wait for next year! @jademcleod.bsky.social, @dewdrop.dog, @razztiger.bsky.social, @cakeibou.bsky.social,

Season 9: Vanuatu 7/10 Very underrated season imo. Second men vs women season and the theme works way better this time around. The women's tribe is the shining star of the season with all the drama, and the winner sneaks through in such a fun, strategic way. Don't sleep on this one

Season 8: All Stars 7/10 This is a tough one, it's a dark season, and stuff outside of the game plays into it a LOT. Some actual friendships built outside of the game are destroyed and there's a ton of bitterness, but seeing all of these icons play together is powerful. Some rough moments though

Season 7: Pearl Islands 9/10 So close to being a perfect season for me. Easily the best intro challenge there's ever been. Fairplay's stunt is still one of the most talked about evil things to this day in Survivor, I love it. So many big characters, and my favorite early era Survivor season

adding to this to make more people (midwesterners) mad at me - people who try to have a conversation with you in public/shared bathrooms - mayonnaise haters - mayonnaise enjoyers - people who name kids all starting with the same letter of the alphabet - anyone that has gender reveal parties

Season 6: The Amazon 5/10 First men vs women season, lots of very strong personalities. The winner's story isn't told the best in my opinion which can make the season feel a bit underwhelming at the end. The peanut butter incident is still funny and would absolutely not fly today

there needs to be a Dante's inferno for the modern age with layers of hell tailored for today's problems, such as: - people who schedule stand up meetings every morning - playing your music over a speaker in public areas - people who say "yeah, no" and "no, yeah" - people that play pickleball

Season 5: Thailand 2/10 Like most people I dislike this season and don't recommend it unless you're committed to watching every season. The only likeable person gets screwed over by a twist and the rest of the cast is boring or just sucks. A few funny moments make it just barely watchable

update - finished reading Piranesi seriously one of the coolest books I've read. if you check it out, go into it with an open mind and no expectations and enjoy the journey, and the birds

okay so my reading books era is going well! already finished Shards of Earth - started Piranesi by Susanna Clarke and it is weird, but cool so far

Season 4: Marquesas 6/10 A season saved by some of the players - not productions fault but a lot of the challenges were scrapped together last second. introduces arguably the most iconic player of all time. super underrated winner with a brilliant social game that isn't seen replicated often/well

Season 3: Africa 6/10 harshest living conditions they've ever put people through by FAR. genuinely don't know how these people made it through this season. like, lions circling their camps at night levels of insanity. love the winner, some good alliances and betrayals. sort of a slow start though

Season 2: The Australian Outback 9/10 this is the season that is what made sure Survivor would stick around for a long time. incredible cast with heroes and villains, a good winner, and one event that proved to everyone that it isn't staged or scripted at all. my favorite of the early seasons

251

razz @razztiger.bsky.social · 20/09/2023

okay spoiler free Survivor review thread Season 1: Borneo 7/10 iconic first season that sets the entire show into motion. has a very different feel than every other season because nobody knew what to expect. polarizing fan favorites and villains. outdated but not in a hard to watch sort of way
