Ray Basten @raybasten.bsky.social · 13/02/2025So pretty! I love the highlights on the bow, it looks so glossy, and the detail in the hair is insane 000 0
Ray Basten @raybasten.bsky.social · 13/02/2025So cute! The big ears poking through the hat! Love the large belt around it. 010 0
Ray Basten @raybasten.bsky.social · 13/02/2025Some more #art experimenting with #ohuhu markers. I'm having some fun with this sort of style. 000 0
Ray Basten @raybasten.bsky.social · 12/02/2025Bet you thought I forgot about this account (I did) Here's a thing I made experimenting with #ohuhu markers 000 0

There are of course factors such as financial insecurity or mental and physical impediments (spoons ≠ motivation even though people will tell you they are the same) but when you can, do, whether you feel inspired or not. 1729431105 0

Whenever I see a little bump in downloads/sales for past issues, it tends to coincide with one of that issue's writers talking about it somewhere. Don't be shy! 1948074 0
Ray Basten @raybasten.bsky.social · 26/12/2024Hope everyone's having pleasant holidays. Christmas with family is fun, but exhausting. I will be sleeping for the next week. 010 0

Members of the billionaire class want to destroy it for some reason. (@archive.org is also under constant threat nowadays and in need of support) 12152302729 0

Certainly not in Byzantium, or anywhere with Orthodox Christians for that matter. Certainly not in Romance. Arabic. Slavonic. Norse. Archaeology exists. What am I missing here? Saxon shit? 3726236 0

Ray Basten @raybasten.bsky.social · 22/12/2024These days I only use Google when I'm showing other people a direct comparison of how much it sucks compared to other search engines. 000 0
Ray Basten @raybasten.bsky.social · 22/12/2024Been thinking of re-doing this piece I did back in c.2015 for a while. It was one of my first ever digital art pieces. I was very proud of it at the time and I'm honestly kinda impressed little me did as well as I did when using only GIMP and a mouse. #art #oldart #redraw 030 0
Ray Basten @raybasten.bsky.social · 21/12/2024Lately I've been trying a looser, less exact method for coloring. It's a lot more fun and less stressful. Testing some small character design changes. Idk what I'm doing with the clothes yet, so far I'm just throwing together some long flowing robes, I'll figure out something more solid later. #art 010 0
Ray Basten @raybasten.bsky.social · 20/12/2024I'm realizing that too. Literally started earning to code games the other day and so far my biggest question is: Why did I put this off for so long? 000 0

Ray Basten @raybasten.bsky.social · 20/12/2024Day 2 of attempting to keep up with a social media account. I'm realizing I don't actually know what people usually post on these things. I'll probably just share art, I guess. Maybe it'll motivate me to practice more if I know there's a chance people will see it... 000 0
Ray Basten @raybasten.bsky.social · 19/12/2024Hello! This is my latest attempt to see if I can stick with any social media for longer than a week. 010 0
