A cherished memory from a few years ago, when Mount Rainier cast its shadow on the clouds. This phenomenon occurs only when the sun rises in perfect alignment, allowing the mountain to block the first morning rays. The water reflected this spectacle, shimmering in rapture—and so did I.

An early morning sky displays a stunning phenomenon where the shadow of Mt. Rainier stretches across the clouds.
