This is my favorite big leaf maple, the proud queen of the woods. She still wears her fresh green, with a hint of yellow beginning to whisper. She’s lost her great limb on the south side, a wound that changed her shape but not her presence. Wishing everyone a lovely weekend!😍 #MobilePhotography

¡Viva México! This was from my trip to Mazatlán, a few years back. It was early morning: the girls were practicing their moves, helping one another with their dresses for the Desfile Cívico-Militar💃 As a traveler passing by, I wished them well — and I was welcomed with such warmth in return💖🤝

A rounded hummingbird loves my fuchsia basket so much, and today I finally understand why. This hummer is missing legs. Up in the sky, it's completely boundless. Down here, these flowered branches are its safe pedestal. I’ll be keeping this pot extra bushy for our resilient little friend 🌸✨

Happy Canada Day to my Canadian friends and family! 🍁 This photo is from a visit to Victoria years ago. The Coho Ferry had a "Free round-trip walk-on fare on your birthday" offer from my side of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, so I jumped on that (literally)! Enjoyed a little magic by being a July kid✨😆

Finally got a chance to visit there, and oh my, I must come back again! Gems I found: Chiton's shell looked like holding its own tidepool, brilliant red, Pacific Blood Star, Purple sea urchins, a flower-like Aggregating anemone! I love seeing them in their natural habitat SO much 😍 Tongue Point, WA
