She’s definitely a great alert dog, that’s for sure 😅

Rav 🐧 @ravipradhan.co.uk · 01/10/2026

That’s good to know! I think the restrictions are esp bad in the newer, high rise blocks run by building management companies. That’s my assumption anyway. Hoping if I go for a converted flat or a smaller, purpose built one it will be less of an issue (I could probably smuggle Luna in, but still)

Rav 🐧 @ravipradhan.co.uk · 30/09/2026

That’s great to hear. It’s one of my concerns for when I move to London and go leasehold because I’ve heard some flats’ terms are ridiculously restrictive re: pets

My brother’s oldest cat passed peacefully in his sleep yesterday. Incredibly affectionate, always wanting fuss. He was 14 years old. I miss him already

A Polaroid photo of a bengal cat sitting on a window sill and looking up. His striped markings are clear

Today I listened to Altered State by TesseracT. It is very good. I recommend

I’d finally be able to play Citizen Erased properly which would make 14 year old me very happy (I believe this alone would justify the purchase) youtu.be/KScEW5a_KGY?...

TIL you can get 7 string guitars for 300 quid. Do I need one? …yes

On the last few days it’s rained, it’s only been during the hour or two I would’ve been playing tennis. I’m taking this personally

Ah, the Abarth. Famous for its door handles coming off (happened twice on my mate’s)

No idea, but I think the @londonreviewbookshop.co.uk has a copy of Fuori dell'abitato di Malbork (outside the town of Malbork).

A quick photo from Tower Bridge the other night, post-Oresteia

Night view of London skyline from Tower Bridge. You can see the walkie talkie building, gherkin, and other skyscrapers in the Liverpool Street area

The Oresteia is very, very good. An inventive adaptation, impressive set design, well acted, and compelling enough that the 3h40 runtime flew by. First time at the Bridge Theatre, too; a wonderful venue

Happy Friday. Here is a gif of Luna giving me some side eye cos I stopped stroking her

Would be quite a contrast with the book’s cover if it was Grotesque levels of grotesque tbf! I do see why your bff thought shojo romance lol

Rav 🐧 @ravipradhan.co.uk · 28/08/2026

Apologies to your bff, but Grotesque meets Battle Royale sounds great ngl

Hamilton is good. Lin-Manuel Miranda is in fact extremely good at his job. Sorry, that's just how it is.

Oof, four days a week is rough but also great for audiobook / podcast listening - silver linings and all that (also sorry I only just saw your reply whoops)

I have somewhat neglected learn go with tests over the past year. It had collected about 50 odd issues and 20 PRs, which, with help from my robot friend (kept on a short leash I promise), I have mostly addressed. First release in a while! github.com/quii/learn-g... #golang #tdd

Put Revolver on the record player and managed to successfully put the needle exactly on the start of Tomorrow Never Knows. I am now Don Draper

How often are you in the office? If I move to London, I’m likely going to need to find a doggie day care for Luna as my parents won’t be able to have her. Not keen on it, but I feel two or three days a week *could* be okay (also no idea how much it costs 😓)

Some very good responses here. The Beatles' Rubber Soul, Revolver, Sgt Pepper's would be my top choice A few more: Queen: Queen II, Sheer Heart Attack, A Night at the Opera Led Zeppelin: IV, Houses of the Holy, Physical Graffiti Muse: Origin of Symmetry, Absolution, Black Holes and Revelations

Rav 🐧 @ravipradhan.co.uk · 03/08/2026

Exactly the three I'd go for

Made the mistake of going into a couple of the art galleries in town and deciding I need to spend my next payslip on a bunch of new abstract acrylics. Anyway, Phil Selwood and Melanie Tong both have wonderful pieces. There are some talented local artists in east Kent

The thing about listening to Led Zeppelin IV again is that now all I can think about are the drums to When The Levee Breaks

010

Rav 🐧 @ravipradhan.co.uk · 22/07/2026

Something very peaceful about sitting in front of the turntable, listening to Robert Plant screech all manner of tones and textures in Misty Mountain Hop

Had a rough day yesterday, so naturally I impulse bought a turntable and Led Zeppelin IV

I tend to use the Mutuals feed on bsky a lot because I’d otherwise miss a lot of posts from people I’m interested in. Anyway the mutuals feed has been borked for me over the last few days which has diminished my bsky experience quite a bit
