My brother’s oldest cat passed peacefully in his sleep yesterday. Incredibly affectionate, always wanting fuss. He was 14 years old. I miss him already

Luna turned 5 yesterday. Tried to take a nice photo of her with her new toy looking happy etc. but failed as, the moment I took it out from the packaging, she immediately ran upstairs to bring it into the Lunker

Second postop checkup done. Vets really pleased with how the wound looks; stitches have been removed, recovery suit is off. Madcap adventures can resume

Vet called to discuss the histopathology results from the lump they removed from Luna last week. Pleased to say it’s all clear, no signs of malignancy 🎉 (she still has to wear the recovery suit for another week, though, pray for Mojo etc)

Post-op checkup went well. The wound is healing nicely. Luna still has to wear the recovery suit, though, and isn’t allowed to run around or jump on and off the many furnishings she has dominion over (poor lady)

Luna had surgery yesterday to remove a lump. Procedure went well, and her recovery so far has been smooth. She can't go for walks or jump up/off beds and sofas, though. She's also taken great offence at the recovery suit she needs to wear

Found our original PS copy of FF7 in a box a few months ago and decided it needed stand out a bit more, so I bought a display case for it. Need to give it a polish, but I'm pretty happy with how it looks. Going to give it to my brother as a belated birthday present

Visited a jewellery shop in Worcester and I think this, the Sakura Aviation, is one of the most stunning watches from the Seiko Cocktail Time collection I’ve seen. Love the versatility Seiko have shown

Perusing the bookshelf and rediscovered a book I’ve not read in about six years. A story about Japanese lexicographers that I remember finding surprisingly compelling. Adapted as an anime and film at some point in the 2010s, too
