Neat, so if I have 3 sites and a finwife next to the enemy, I have 5 mana. If I spend 3 mana, and then move my finwife away, I now have 0 mana available. I can't say that two of my spent mana was from the finwife, so I still have 2 remaining. It's just a constantly updated max/used check?

Finished reading Malazan book 5 last night. Pretty cool! I didn't really know where it existed in the general timeline of other books until like 60% of the way through. That was kind of a neat bit! I liked it! Book 6 is checked out from the library though, might be a bit until I read more.

Came here to say that. "Bu" + verb = not verb. "Shi" here is just a "be" verb, so it's the closest to a generic 'No' that Chinese has in this context. bu pao (don't run), bu chi (don't eat), bu yao (don't want), etc.

Waited three weeks for this specific color of printer filament to finish a project for my wife, and my suspiciously light package just arrived like this. And now it's out of stock. Anyone have a good exact replacement for Sunlu Matte PLA Oak? Out of stock everywhere that I see.

A filament spool with maybe 20 grams left of filament where 1,000 grams should be. It's sitting on the box and packaging it was shipped in.

Went to the Michtoy DanORama this morning. Maybe 2/3 the size of their normal Stellacon. I didn't see anything I was looking for so left with zero purchases. Lots of cool old stuff I'd love to play with if I had the group and time though!

Yeah, seems like they just took all the people that signed up and split the groups into two halves, queue/waitlist (per the numbers I saw on reddit). Then those in the queue have their order randomized and get their own order despite there not being enough units for them all yet. (Waitlister here)

Plus I had a Shield Maidens near it, which "Nearby allies take 1 less damage", which I figure if it was reduced to zero damage then the ward or the turtles shell effect wouldn't trigger. Unless somehow "Zero damage" is still an amount of damage that needs to be prevented?

A warded (first time it is targeted by a spell or damaged, ignore the effect and remove the ward) Tufted Turtle is a huge pain in the ass because you can choose it's own ability to block the first hit, then the ward for the second, then finally the third hit can kill it.

The Sorcery card "Tufted Turtles", three mana and one water threshold for a 2 power (2/2) minion (creature).
It's an Ordinary (common) Beasts with plated pelt.
Its power is "The first time Tufted Turtles would take damage each turn, prevent that damage."

Had four of us playing a few games of Sorcery last night! I tried out my Wards deck vs Elementalist/Knights and wards en masse are... not fun (I won). Then Necromancer vs my Faeries deck, Faeries had a really good lead but lost to a hellkite and a swarm of skeletons in the end. Fun games!

This reminds me that a coworker online was asking me about a half snapped keyboard key and I'm like "They pop right back in!" and to test that I half-popped one of mine out (right arrow) and that shit did not pop back in. Cobalt Core is the best, with an actual fun story that you slowly unlock, and an actual ending you can reach in 40 hours or less (took me 38?) Great system, cute characters, fun story, cool ending, A++ would play more games that they make.

It was a mistranslation. The translation confused "generation" (the time period) with "generation" (the creation of things). They're talking about their latest generation of game engine, not an AI generating game engine.
